Johnny graduated from NUI Galway and UCD in Engineering and worked as a consultant for Watson Hawksley, Ltd, UK and Giffels Associates, Toronto before returning to work in Ireland. Currently Johnny is a Senior Engineer with Donegal County Council, and is a past member of the Building Regulations Advisory Body and a past president of the Irish Building Control Institute.
